Adam Henckler’s One Steining Moment: Homecoming 2013

The words “memories” and “homecoming” rarely went hand-in-hand during my days up at Orono; actually that was probably true for most weekends during my four years. Time has gone by, things have changed, but homecoming still remains the lone weekend each year when uttering the phrase “are three 30-racks of Miller Lite enough” still seems entirely acceptable.

I had my doubts going into the weekend as we only had 3 out of 5 executive committee members in attendance and several other Fill The Steins regulars were unable to attend. It also was the first year that we really had promoted our tailgate across all of our social media platforms, so there were several unknowns going into Saturday.

In the end, my one shining moment for Homecoming 2013 ended up being the dozens of you in Fill The Steins Nation who stopped by our tailgate on Saturday. And what more fitting way to celebrate YOU then to share some of my favorite tweets from the weekend.
