WWJD: Where Will Jenny Drink

I have some good news and some bad news regarding my cousin Jimmy and his spring break trip to Panama City Beach. The whole reason Jimmy went to Florida was to see Steve Aoki perform; well he got that and a whole lot more. After the show on Wednesday Jimmy was able to get into the after party and hung out with Steve and his crew. The next morning Jimmy woke up on a tour bus in Texas on his way to South Padre Island.  So the good news is that Jimmy got a second show with his idol during spring break, the bad news is he’s now in Texas trying to get back to Orono. Sorry boys, you are stuck with me for another week until my cousin gets back in town. Thanks to the guys who I saw out at Alfond last weekend, let’s try to meet up at the hockey watch party tonight. Here are my picks for the weekend.

Men’s Hockey vs Providence Watch Party (Seasons Grill, Bangor): Can I just say how happy I was that mega hottie, Mark Anthoine, opened up the scoring for the Black Bear’s last weekend? There I just did.  The team travels down to Providence for a best of 3 series with the Friars and I am planning to head over to Seasons Grill in Bangor to cheer on the boys. Both games start at 7pm and there will be food and drink specials throughout the night. I’ve got a cute Black Bear v-neck tee all picked out for tonight’s game, make sure to say hi and maybe we can get a picture together.
Pre-St. Patty’s Day Acoustic Lunch (Paddy Murphy’s, Bangor): Go figure the first day of classes after spring break would fall on St. Patrick’s Day and naturally I have to work that night at Bell’s IGA so I can’t go out, ugh. I am going to head down to Paddy Murphy’s on Sunday for their acoustic lunch which will make me feel a little bit Irish even though I’m too young to enjoy some green beer in public just yet. Plus it will be a good chance for my girl friends and I to wear some cute green outfits and have some fun before we start classes again this week.

Keep your fingers crossed that Jimmy can find his way back to Orono by Monday. For those of you traveling back from spring break, be safe. For those already in town this weekend I hope to see you out and about. Go Black Bears!
